Delete your CricAura account

You can delete your CricAura account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Deletion takes effect 30 days after you confirm, so you can change your mind.

Delete it in the app

Open CricAura and sign in.
Open Settings: the gear icon on the home screen (in the Stadium layout: the Profile tab, under Account).
Tap Delete account, read what will happen, type DELETE and confirm.

You are signed out straight away. Your account is permanently deleted 30 days later. If you sign in again before then, you can choose Keep my account and nothing is lost.

Can't sign in?

Email CricAuraApp@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my CricAura account", from the email address on your account or including the mobile number you signed up with. We confirm and schedule the deletion the same way.

What we delete

Your login. Your email address and mobile number can be used to sign up again.
Your profile: name, photo, location, date of birth, gender, playing role and styles.
Your YouTube channel connection, if you added one, and your notifications.

What stays

Matches, scorecards, tournaments, points tables and other players' statistics are shared records, so they stay exactly as they are. In past scorecards your name is shortened to your initials, for example "HS(Deleted)", with your photo and contact details removed.

Teams, tournaments and matches you created also stay. Their members can email CricAuraApp@gmail.com and we will assign a new admin.

Payment records are kept where the law requires it. Encrypted backups are overwritten within our normal backup cycle.
